We believe you should get all the credit you deserve, both in writing and financially. This is done through CD Authoring. To accomplish this, we provide you with an easy-to-use mastering submission form. It includes general project information, all the creative credits and data necessary to collect money from internet music sales and broadcasts.
If you do not have all the information requested in this form, consider getting it (for your benefit), especially the critical ISRC numbers. ISRC numbers are used to track and deliver owed royalties when a song is used by internet and satellite radio stations. The numbers are also used to track digital sales in electronic stores such as iTunes. You can find information on ISRC numbers and submission details at www.usisrc.org. Small batches of ISRC and UPC numbers are available for sale from ISRC managers like CD Baby and www.isrcmusiccodes.com.
You can also have all this information added by your online distributor (aka CD Baby, Rhapsody, DistroKid, Tunecore, Discmakers, etc) . If you choose to only use online services you do not have to worry about filling out all the song credit information below.
If you do not intend to fill in certain information, just leave the space(s) blank.
